The porcelain teapot “Sørn” was a product of the course “Just for You”. Purpose of the course was to create porcelain objects, which are tailored to the likes of a specific target group or target person. We did this with help of milieu allocations, questionnaires, interviews and mood boards. Finally, I decided to create an object for my old schoolfriend Sören. Meanwhile, Sören is studying economics and in his leasure time he is playing Lacrosse and Paintball. In the interview it turned out that, despite of his martial sports, he favors organic, flowing and clear shapes . Thus, I developed the teapot Sørn, which seeks to incorporate these qualities, from the paintball pistol to the Colani chair.
